One of our latest recruits, Ricky, is heading up our Customer Service Team. Let’s find out how it’s going.

Welcome aboard! New Year, New Start, how is 2018 shaping up?

We’ve made a few changes within the CS department, so the training is more visual.

Creating a new manual ‘Worldnet Bible’ has been quite time consuming.

The CS team have been fantastic, and they have made me feel very welcome.

I cannot express enough how passionate and dedicated they are.

With so much positivity I cannot wait to see the rest of the year through.


You have strong background in logistics, why did you choose Worldnet? & how have you found adapting to the Worldnet Way?

When I approached Worldnet I was aware of their renowned bespoke logistics and customer service. This is what really stood out to me and sets them apart from other companies in the industry. Since starting I’ve really enjoyed learning the mechanics of the company and getting to know my colleagues and our fantastic client base.


What do you enjoy most about your job?

I’ve always enjoyed problem solving and rethinking ideas.  In this Industry no two days are ever the same, so this always keeps me on my toes. 


We hear you’re in a band, what kind of music do you play & are you a front man? 

Yea I play in a 50’s/60’s band playing anything from rock’n’roll, pop to Motown. I’m also the lead guitar player and singer.


When you’re not playing music & delivering fantastic customer service, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I tend to paint, do photography, make jewellery, write and record music. Collect records and watch movies.
